Phenotyping Sites and Protocols - Progress

• A survey was conducted of field experimental sites involved in the IBP use case projects and other related GCP projects.
• Dr. Sam Geerts of KU Leuven developed tools for the geographic characterization of the sites, specifically for Drought Timing for Agronomic Screening to estimate the probability of drought at a trial site given specific planting dates and for Drought Timing for Crops Surrounding a Trial Site. He used these tools to do an Environmental Assessment of the Phenotyping Network.
